What is ADX?

ADX is an indicator that collects information from the market trend. It is based on three signals:

• Quotient ADX (highlights the strength of the trend)
• Signal PLUSDI (highlights the strength of the bullish movement)
• Signal MINUSDI (highlights the strength of the bearish movement)

When the PLUSDI signal is above the MINUSDI signal it is considered to be a bullish signal

When the PLUSDI signal is below the MINUSDI signal it is considered to be a bearish signal
